Herbal formulas are known worldwide from the Asian philosophy of regeneration. However, plants originating from Asia are often very unusual or not easily digestible for our region. For this reason, Dr Alfred Gruber specialised in the formulas of Asian regeneration philosophy using Western – mostly Swiss – herbs. This resulted in various tea blends that are easily digestible and balanced. They are ideal companions for different times of the day and situations. Evening tea is drunk from around 3:00 p.m. until shortly before going to bed. It is recommended to stop drinking large amounts of evening tea 1½–2 hours before bedtime. What tends to be its diuretic effect could make sleep restless. However, a cup right before bed is recommended. Pour boiling water over one teaspoon per cup or four teaspoons per litre and allow to steep for 5–10 minutes. The tea can be enjoyed several times a day in any quantity. The tea can be drunk either hot or cold.
